Design Prototype for a Gastro Startup
Project overview
Axisbits developed a complete design prototype for web and mobile for Crispy. It forms the basis for a new restaurant software that digitally connects orders, kitchen and billing.
Crispy is a young startup from Valais that wants to enable digital orders directly at the table. The founders faced the task of translating complex workflows – such as shared orders, courses and kitchen coordination – into a simple, intuitive system. Initial sketches and ideas were in place, but without a clear structure and without a consistent design language. The founders needed a fast and solid starting point so that their internal developers could later build efficiently.
It was especially important that guests immediately understand every step and that staff are relieved.
Axisbits developed the entire UX foundation as well as a coherent brand image. This included multiple iterations of wireframes, optimized user flows and a modular design system. On this basis a high-fidelity prototype was created in Figma, fully documented and ready for internal further development.

Crispy now has a clearly structured design that serves as a solid foundation both technically and organizationally. The founders can use it to move into development purposefully and communicate their vision of a digital restaurant solution in a comprehensible way.
The prototype facilitates decisions, reduces follow-up questions and accelerates implementation by external developers.
