Social Media Concept for a SportTech Startup

Project overview

For the Swiss startup Oly we developed an interactive Figma prototype that lays the foundation for a new social tech platform for sports fans. The goal was a clear user experience that convinces investors, player agencies and clubs.

Challenge

Oly started without structure and without a visual foundation. The founders had a strong vision: a social media app that brings sports fans together away from noise, hate and general debates. Football fans should receive content from players, teams and media that is truly relevant. No distractions like on conventional platforms, but a curated feed with exclusive access.

The challenge was to shape this vision into a functional, credible concept that serves as the foundation for financing talks and first partnerships.

Solution

We developed the user flows for all roles such as guests, fans, content creators and admins. On this basis, clear wireframes and a reduced, brand-oriented UI system were created. The design covers central core functions such as follow mechanics, paid subscriptions via Stripe, DM logic between fans and players as well as the entire onboarding process.

The result is a fully clickable prototype in Figma that makes the idea tangible and structures the product cleanly.

Impact

Oly received a visual and functional product for the first time that feels real and can be reliably presented. The founders use the prototype for investor discussions, for initial dialogues with players and organizations and as the foundation for technical planning of the next phase. The concept creates clarity and speed in further development.
